Good luck but if this is all the money you have then you will need some more eventually for repairs! Plan for it!

Whatever you do, don't just go to walmart or something (obviously). Go to a good bike shop. They may cost more but they last longer and are better in quality.

Any bike in that price range is going to be junk unless you buy used. A full suspension bike is not needed and the good ones are very expensive. Take your inseam X .59 to get the proper frame size. Look at shop quality bikes and stay away from department stores.

You would probably need a hardtail with a nice fork. However, 200 euros will get you a horrible bike. A good decentis around 400 euros and up. 200 will get you a full suspension bike from a bad department store, that when taken offroad, will break.

Hardtail without a doubt.- Full suspension bikes are expensive and the cheap ones don't have true suspension.

If you are not going to be riding off-road, you should look into hybrids and cycle cross bikes and see if they are more budget conscience. The key is to find the most bike for the buck.

Chris has pretty much said what I wanted to. It has unbranded components. It is heavy. The rear suspension is a bed spring. In short, this is something that will ride on the road OK, but as soon as you take it near a track, let alone off road, you will find it hard work.

There are a few brands that will give you a bike for £120. However, do not ask too much of the bike at this price bracket. You want a bike that does one or two things well, rather than trying to do lots of things, not so well. It is also worth going for branded components, where possible. The minimum is branded gears. Shimano or SRAM.

You will get a home grown finishing kit for this money. Also, you will not have a great frame. You will either have steel, or low grade aluminium.

I would probably pop for a Raleigh or similar brand at this price. Go for a road bike or hardtail mountain bike. You might also consider getting a deal on one of last years models. You can usually get a saving there. The problem with second hand is that, on your budget, you can not afford to repair the worn out components. I.E. chain, casset and tyres.

The best advice that I can give you, is to get a decent framed bike. I rrecommendthe Specialized Hardrock sport. Although these are about £290, you may be able to find an older model for about £230. This will serve you better than the machine you are looking at.
